Fearless leader, Hector Ruiz, might make like a tree and leave. (admit it, that was funny) Every so often, we hear rumors that Hector Ruiz might leave or retire from AMD so we don't know what to believe. This time around, Fudzilla is reporting that he might very well leave before the end of 2008. Hector is 62 years old and he might just want to enjoy life. In line is Dirk Meyer who might be able to turn AMD around - although, Hector was in charge when K8 shipped, the company has been struggling lately. Several years ago, Jerry Sanders III handpicked Hector for the job.
